Individual AppointmentHow I work

About the practice

A calm, experienced approach.

I am a counsellor and Member of ACA (Australian Counselling Association). I hold a Bachelor of Counselling & Coaching and a Master of Counselling, alongside substantial professional and life experience and an established telehealth practice.

My approach is respectful, collaborative and unhurried. Rather than assuming that there is a simple answer, I take time to understand the particular circumstances, relationships and questions that matter to you.

Member of ACA (Australian Counselling Association).

Who I help

Support through change, loss and difficult relationships.

I work with adults across NSW and Australia. You do not need to have everything clearly worked out before getting in touch.

Life transitions

Mid-life change, retirement, questions of identity and purpose, workplace pressure, or a sense that life has become uncertain.

Grief and caring

Bereavement, serious illness in the family, caring responsibilities, anticipatory grief and the changes that follow a loss.

Family and relationships

Separation, family tension, loneliness, parenting adult children, difficult conversations and changing relationships.

How I work

A relationship built at a sensible pace.

Counselling is a conversation with purpose. We begin by considering what has brought you to this point, what you would like support with, and whether my service feels suitable for you.

Make contact

Email me with a brief enquiry. We can discuss your questions and arrange an initial appointment.

Initial appointment

We talk about your circumstances, hopes for counselling, practical arrangements and whether we are a good fit.

Ongoing work

If we decide to continue, we agree a frequency that is appropriate to your circumstances and review the work as needed.

Telehealth counselling

Private support from a place that suits you.

Appointments are held by secure video. Telehealth can make counselling more accessible when travel, work, caring responsibilities or location would otherwise make regular appointments difficult.

  • Attend from a quiet, private place with a reliable internet connection.
  • Use headphones if this helps you feel more comfortable.
  • You will receive simple joining instructions before your first appointment.
  • Telehealth is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 000. For 24-hour support in Australia, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Fees and appointments

Clear practical arrangements.

We will discuss fees and appointment arrangements before you begin.

Appointment arrangements

Please contact me for current fees and appointment arrangements.

These arrangements will be confirmed before your appointment.
